"Dare to Overcome" seeks to advocate for women in the Middle East who daily overcome the odds against them. Many regions in the Middle East limit women’s rights and opportunities for expression or personal advancement. However, massive change is on the horizon. Women are uniting in resistance, some protest in the streets while others live out their activism by breaking barriers in work and lifestyle.

     Each piece in my concentration represents specific stories of women from countries such as Iran, Pakistan, Syria, or Saudi Arabia. While a full news article could be written for every individual, my works aim to highlight the most significant aspect of their narratives.
